Deploy an OpenClaw Agent on ClawMate

Name your agent and select OpenClaw

In the ClawMate deploy wizard, enter a name for your agent and select "OpenClaw" as the framework. OpenClaw uses a Node.js runtime with 1GB RAM and supports 50+ integrations out of the box. Choose between local Docker deployment or a managed cloud VM.

Choose your AI model and paste your API key

Select your AI provider — Anthropic (Claude Sonnet 4.6, Opus 4.6), OpenAI (GPT-5.4, GPT-4.1, o3), Groq (Llama 3.3 70B), or OpenRouter (300+ models). Paste your API key — it's encrypted with AES-256-GCM at rest. Optionally configure fallback models and a heartbeat for periodic check-ins.

Connect Telegram or Discord

Select your channel and enter your bot credentials. For Telegram, paste the token from @BotFather. For Discord, paste the bot token from the Developer Portal. Set the DM policy to open (anyone can message) or restricted (specific user IDs only). Optionally enable voice transcription with Groq Whisper.

Add skills, set personality, and deploy

Choose from 20+ built-in skills (GitHub, Gmail, Notion, X posting, image generation, and more) or install community skills from ClawHub and skills.sh. Customize the system prompt with templates (Helpful Assistant, Customer Support, Technical Expert, Content Creator). Configure security hardening — exec sandbox and network access controls. Click Deploy.
